Indigenous Education

Weyt-kp!!

Clearwater Secondary School is located within the traditional territory of the Secwepemc people and 25% of our school population self-identifies as First Nations, Inuit or Metis ancestry. We work to provide these students with extra support in the areas of achievement, language and culture.

Cultural Traditions and Protocols

Acknowledging the territory is performed at important functions such as assemblies, awards night, graduation. By acknowledging the Secwepemc territory we are showing respect and honour for the Indigenous peoples.
